THE NATIONAL MINORITY SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL AWARDS SPRINGBOARD TECHNOLOGY REGIONAL SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR

November 2003 – The Hyatt Regency in Chicago hosted the celebration and annual dinner for the National Minority Supplier Development Council for their recognition and awards ceremony for Minority Enterprise Development initiatives. The Annual Trade Fair and Workshops preceded this event. The sponsorship and nomination for the “Supplier of the Year” Award was submitted to the National Minority Supplier Development Council by IBM. SpringBoard Technology triumphed and won the honor. The award was accepted by Anthony F. Dolphin, Chairman and CEO of SpringBoard.
The acceptance speech was evidence of what can be done when MBE’s are given a chance to compete, exist and ultimately thrive! IBM’s value of supply chain relationships and mentoring is obvious.

Theo Fletcher, Vice President, Global Procurement Operations, Javette Jenkins, Program Director, Global Supplier Diversity, and Sherry Robinson, Program Manager, Supplier Diversity, all of IBM and Anthony Dolphin, Chairman and CEO of SpringBoard Technology took a brief moment to reflect over the celebrated partnership and enjoy its successes. Anthony Dolphin, stated, “IBM has been a wonderful business partner to SpringBoard for over four years now, and we collectively look to the future as we embrace our ever growing relationship.”

IBM and SpringBoard Technology’s relationship began over four years ago during an IBM search for a supplier for a new and innovative logistics fulfillment program. The search culminated in a formal request for quotation in which SpringBoard was a bidder. SpringBoard won the business and was awarded the contract.
